Shrooms

 Short Film

... and it's a disaster.

One of Shrooms' main goals was to see if we could tell an interesting story with characters that were almost completely inanimate.

With no moving characters, and thus no way to physically emote -

lighting, set design, camerawork, music, and visual effects became very important.

I tend to use Megascans and Forester quite a bit in my world-building, but they are different tools and serve different purposes.

Forester's Wind controls were great for slight movement on our ferns throughout the film,

but textures needed some attention to bring them up to production quality.

X-Particles Explosia was used for 2 types of effects - Emissive smoke rings and thrir trails, and the final poof.
